I haven't been able to post much. I have been having health problems. I was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease called Dermatomyositis. Between my health and raising 2 kids I have been busy. I start on medication soon (I have to quit nursing first). Hopefully I will be feeling better and have more time to post soon. Thanks to those of you who have taken time to look at my photos.
I am sorry but I did not make this assignment. We came back from vacation with a tree branch on our roof and this week has just been a little crazy. If I don't make this one up I will definitely post for next weeks topic, Relaxation.
Now I am finally catching up. I don't have many photos which is disappointing because I love macro photography but there will be plenty in the future. These were all taken at the park by the zoo.
All of these picture are older as I didn't have time to go out and take pictures. I must apologize for running behind. I tried to upload them last week and was having issues and I haven't had time to try again until today.
My husband and I at Galveston with our 2 pugs. We are at a giftshop called Murdochs which was destroyed during Hurricane Ike. They are rebuilding it though and I am hoping it will be finished next year.
The petting zoo at the library. This made me smile.
A view of downtown from the ferris wheel.
Husband and daughter on the ferris wheel.
Siblings meet for the first time.
Texas Rennaisance Festival. My daughter is on the far right.
My daughter the flower girl and the ring bearer dancing at his parents wedding.
So sorry I am late... I will post pictures tomorrow, July 5th. I have been swamped with being a mom and trying to get ready for a July 4th celebration at my house. I will catch up tomorrow though and am looking forward to seeing everyones photos!
The Farmer's Market is on Airline Dr. which is about 10 minutes from my house. You can buy buckets of fresh fruits and vegetables for $2 to $5.
There were buckets of brightly colored brooms everywhere. I think I would like purple broom for my house. The pinatas were stunning with there bright colored streamers swaying in the wind. The next few photos were taken of my daughter at the Children's Museum over the years. The last thing we do before we leave is go to the face painting area so she can transform herself into a wild cat. These were also taken at the Children's Museum in the infant toddler area. There are large pillars full of toys like a humongous I Spy book. These are some close up shots... This is my son playing with a gigantic light bright board at the Children's Museum. I would have loved one of these as a child. The rest of the pictures are of my son playing in the infant area at the Children's Museum. Can you find ROY G BIV in the last one? Thanks for taking the time to look at my pictures. I hope you enjoyed them!
I am a stay at home mom with 2 beautiful children. I have a 10 year old daughter named Seven (like the #) and a 2 year old son named Sage. I am married to my wonderful and supportive husband, Hamish.
We are a family of animal lovers with 2 pugs 1 lab mix and 1 cat.
I was a hairdresser for 7 years then changed careers and became a Certified Montessori Teacher for ages 3-6. I also worked as a behavior therapist with children with autism for a year or so (which I loved).
I am currently working towards getting my degree but not sure in what...
I enjoy photography, hiking, and camping. My dream job would be to travel the world with my family photographing every second of it. For now I'll start with photographing our life in the Heights, our highly eclectic and diverse neighborhood.
